“Like the frost on a rose, winter comes for us all.” My daughter sent me a song…I’ve listened to it all morning; download “Seasons” by Hillsong. You’re welcome in advance.
I have gotten away from music lately, but “Seasons” is a reminder of how praise and worship is extremely helpful in finding peace. It’s playing on repeat.
Let me give you a scenario. You aren’t yourself. You forget stuff easily. Your brain has too many tabs open, and many of these tabs contain fear and worry associated with various situations in your life or things that could go wrong. Does this sound familiar?
How can we overcome the anxieties besieging us at various times in our lives?
1. Access your peace in Jesus by meditating on His word. The Bible says we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us.
2. Realize you’re called to thrive in the midst of uncertainty – in these modern times, in the middle of things you don’t understand, in this season of life.
3. Be mindful of your oasis and go off the grid with Jesus. Turn the channel. Stay off Facebook for a day. Stay out of other peoples’ drama. Avoid pointless quarrels. Practice self care.
Combat panic and anxiety by quieting your mind and going off the grid when necessary.
Love it! And it’s totally workable!!
